Serving Guide

The first step to choosing the size of your cake is the size of the portions. For dense type cakes such as mud cake, the servings may be slightly smaller. These serving guides do not apply if your cake is not a standard square or round cake (ie, steak cake, sculpted handbag cake etc)

Dessert Serving

If this is the only cake/dessert at your event, it is recommended you choose the dessert serving size. The dessert serving is approximately 2″ x 2″. (5cm x 5cm)

Finger Serving

If the cake is being served with fruit or other desserts at the event, we recommend a smaller serving called a finger serving. It can also be served at the end of a large meal with coffee. The finger serving is approximately 1″ x 2″ (2.5cm x 5cm).
